Community Blogs

I just wanted to take a little time here and mention that if you haven’t already checked out some of our member blogs, go to the community tab and check them out! We’re starting to get a few people who’ve created their own blogs - and there is some good stuff over there! And, of course, if you’re new to the site (or even if you’re not!) feel free to create your own blog as well - we’d love to have you share your stories with us!

I did want to mention, too: those of you who have blogs, we’re working on getting custom skins created so that you have more choices for background, design, layout, pictures, etc. I’ll let everyone know when those are up and running via a blog post here. We’re also working on getting a blog rating system in place - that way readers can rate each blog they read - and the top five rated blogs will show up on the main Base Camp Legends homepage on the right hand column.

I’m going to be following my brother, Todd, around the hills tomorrow to try and fill his bear tag. Should be a good day to go - the weather is supposed to be sunny and mild. Hopefully we’ll have a great story to tell come Monday. It should be a lot of fun, regardless.

There are several new backgrounds to choose from now for bloggers. You can set them up under the “Presentation” tab when managing your blog.
