		<description>Yikes - I&#039;ve got no leg to stand on here!  I, Tom Sorenson, co-founder of an outdoor website (knowing animals is my business!) called a whitetail a mule deer!  I&#039;m ashamed beyond shame!

I&#039;m going to offer up the flimsy excuse that this was a whitetail that was only visible from the neck up and the antlers were thick in the velvet and difficult to tell.  All excuses aside, though - this was a simple mistake of assuming - and you know what they say about what happens when we assume things!</description>

I am a bit conserned about your hunting though, because the deer on my blog is a whitetail, not a mully (grin, and wink) I took pictures of him all last year and some friends of ours actually collected his sheds,...and you live in the west.. shame, shame..
