Spring is For Turkeys

I realize that most of the United States gets all excited because spring is the time of year they hunt turkeys.  Well, in our corner of the world, turkeys aren’t that plentiful – and I know many would dispute that – but it is my experience that the turkeys that are here are so concentrated that every hunter within two hundred miles is concentrated in about a five mile radius.  It has donned on me, though, that I don’t have a single turkey hunt story or information or anything on here, until now!  Jim Gaskins was kind enough to send me this link about hunting turkey in Oregon.  Don’t get too excited, turkey hunters, it’s doubtful that many more turkey hunts will appear on here – at least this year.  Maybe next year I can find a spot in my new home state of Idaho.  Till then, spring is still fishing season for me!
