Backcountry Elk Hunt

This hunt take place in the wilderness of Eastern Oregon where base camp is set up 12 miles from the nearest road. It’s an awesome hunt that my family has enjoyed making for some 40 years. There were eight people in camp, myself included, although I just followed my uncle, Ray Waldo, and cousin, Cody Waldo, with the camera. So, this is essentially a father-son hunt in a very special place for us.

    Wow! Fun to see the reel deal. Wonderful place to hunt and I look forward to that “once in a lifetime experience”. Keep it up guys!
