Off Trail – Back Country Archery Elk

Sometimes we hunt an area more for what the place means to us than anything else. This hunt takes place in the back country of Oregon’s most rugged country – and a place that my family has hunted for more than 50 years. The twelve mile pack to base camp makes it an awesome experience before the bows are unpacked. The bulls are just starting to get worked up, and we’ve got seven tags and big dreams!
