Unfortuneately deer season ended about 2 weeks ago....Thats ok though, its been a crazy season, I was gone for most of it this year so I was pretty frustrated with the way things ended for me! I was tickled pink when I shot the hog!!! Chukar, I havent hunted them since I was a teenager in PA. I used to work at a bording kennel and we raised German Shorthairs and hatched Chukar and Quail. I really enjoyed hunting them and watchin the dogs work! The only thing in here are hogs(we can hunt hogs all year round) and small game until the end of the Feb. Waterfowl is in until the end of this week and then we just wait until the end of March for Turkey season to roll around. Honestly I didnt expect to be a Grandpa right now, but I would not trade it for the world! He definately makes the day better!! :-) I will be doing my next article this week! I am definately looking forward to a great 2010!! I hope yall are as well! Hey Gary!!! Suz was just saying the other day that she was having withdrawal symptoms as its been 3 whole weeks since we got back from our final hunt.(Dec. 31) The boys are chasing Chuckers next week end, then its only coyotes till bear season in April. Congrats on the turkey's and the Hog and luck in the next two weeks (deer I presume). Understand the kick the Grandson is.
