I would say we all agree on one thing – politics can be very frustrating and at times dispicable. I know as our local (20 miles north) US Senator really embarrassed us a couple years ago.(Larry Craig). That is why I was so interested in Judy as she came from the same nieghborhood but evidently a lot better stock. Holly pretty much hit the nail on the head as we haven’t chosen the field of battle, but its either fight there or give in to those that have showed up.

So you see Joe we have our share of strange politicians too, although I’ll agree Ca. has more then their share.

I don’t like politics, period. It has done more to hurt our country (as Rick said) than help it in the last 100 years. There has never been more PC groups than now and unfortunately I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Ultimately creating more division amongst its citizens rather than unity. Idaho is fortunate to have an advocate on behalf of its hunting community and heritage.

I shudder at times when I think about politics as well. The plain fact of the matter, though, is that we have to be involved, because they do effect us in one way or another.

Holly’s idea is a great one as well. I’ve already jumped on board that wagon and contacted my local reps.

Hopefully your representative doesn’t quit when it comes to protecting those wolf hunters. It just never ceases to amaze me that these anti’s consider animal life more important than human life.

Politics can indeed be very off-putting, but it goes on whether we participate or not, which means the participants – politicians, activists, etc. – are the ones running the show. Glad to hear you’ve got a politician who is working for you – and who you feel good enough to write about!

I stray away from politics as much as possible basically because I think politics is a waste of my time. I am tired of people telling me what they think I want to hear especially when they are going to do the opposite. I am tired of politicians try to blow smoke up my !@@ just to make themselves sound good and look good.
If you ask me they are all a bunch of hipocrits. This country was run better 100 years ago then it is now and that is a true shame. Who needs politicians anyway, the people knows what needs to be done and what doesn’t need to e done.

Sorry about that, I have wasted enough of my time and yours.
