Preserving the humble traditions of hunting stories we strive to portray hunting the way you came to love it.  The strong connection between family and hunting, a sunset bouncing off a rocky peak that moves us and makes a hunt complete, and the heart-pounding encounter with a wild critter – no matter its size; these are the reasons Base Camp Legends began as a family blog in 2007.  In 2013, we expanded to bring in like-minded contributors to share their experiences with family and nature in the wild places of the Rocky Mountain region.
